Street Fighter V Will Be Free To Play For A Limited Time

Street Fighter V Original cast

Game company CAPCOM recently announced that popular fighting video game Street Fighter V will get a free trial run for a limited time only.

Street Fighter V limited free trial

Players who are interested to download the action fighting video game can download it for free, but for only for a few days. The free trial run will start on Dec. 11 at 1:00 PM Pacific Time, and will end on Dec. 19 at 9:59 AM. The best part is that anyone can download this free trial because it will not need any PlayStation Plus subscription. All of the initial content from the base game and the modes from Arcade Edition will be available.

This free trial will include all 16 original characters from Ryu to M.Bison. Some of the fan-favorite DLC characters will be included as well, but they will only be accessible in Ranked, Casual, Battle Lounge, Training, and Challenges modes. Beating the Arcade mode will unlock unique illustrations. Versus mode allows players to play with another local player or AI opponent, Challenges allows players to use each character with Demonstrations, Trials, and Survival mode.

Sponsored content

There will be some sponsored content included in this free trial on Dec. 11. Players will see these contents in-game to advertise the CAPCOM Pro Tour and allow them to earn additional Fight Money in Ranked and Casual Matches. It will appear on costumes, loading screens before battles, and on tournament stages. They can actually turn this off on Battle Settings, but they will not earn bonus fight money in the process.

The full game is now available on PlayStation 4.
