Spider-Man New Trailer Features Open World Featuring Popular Locations

A new Spider-Man trailer was recently released featuring the open world system of the game. It also featured some famous locations of the Marvel universe.

Spider-Man new trailer released

The new trailer was posted on a publication’s YouTube channel just after a gameplay trailer was shown previously. This new trailer apparently features the world of the game, which is the whole Manhattan area with some few instances of creative freedom. It shows the web-swinging hero exploring the city and showing off some pretty famous Marvel locations.

These popular locations are actually some buildings that most fans would definitely recognize right away. Some shots featured both the Avengers Tower and Dr. Strange’s Sanctum Santorum. There are other references inserted into the game like Ratchet & Clank, and more. The video also gave hints that the map will not stay the same forever. It will change in some ways as players go through the story or how much gameplay time is spent. Real life locations were added as well like the Radio City Music Hall.

Another hint in the trailer suggested that the hero’s abilities while swinging will get better. The animations will look fancier as the player improves his abilities in the course of the game.

Hosted by someone who hates the guy

The irony of this trailer is that it was narrated by J.J. Jameson. Peter Parker in this footage poses as Peter Patterson and calls Jameson’s antics from time to time. The narrator did do his rambling about the web-slinger as a menace to society. The hero on the other hand thought otherwise and let it off as maybe he was trying to help.

The game will launch on PlayStation 4. This will be available on Sept. 7.
