One of the most interesting features in Far Cry 6 is your ability to recruit animal companions, also known as “amigos” in the game. Oluso, a stealthy and awesome black panther, is one of those amigos. If you want to earn Oluso as an amigo, you’ll first need to complete a series of tasks first. Read on to learn how to get Oluso in Far Cry 6.
How to Get Oluso in Far Cry 6
To get Oluso in Far Cry 6, you will need to complete the Triada Blessings side quest first. Oluso is quite the formidable beast. Players who prefer a stealthy approach will especially appreciate this amigo. As one of the toughest and most powerful amigos in the game, Oluso is also perhaps the toughest one to get ahold of.
Read on to know how you can complete this questline to finally get the stealthy amigo as your companion.
Triada Blessings
Completing this side quest can take a while. Thankfully, you can begin this quest very early in the game, right after meeting Clara for the first time. The quest involves you traveling around the game’s world to collect Triada Relics. To begin the quest, head to the Oluwa Cave in Ventura Summit. If you don’t know where that is, refer to the image above for its exact location.
Once you’re at the location, head inside the cave to find a note that mentions three relics. The note won’t mention the location of these relics, but this guide will.
Ida’s Triada Relic
You can obtain this relic by starting a treasure hunt you can find west of the Lozania region. Its location is shown in the image above. Just follow the treasure hunt and it should lead you to your first Triada Relic.
Oku’s Triada Relic
The treasure hunt for Oku’s Triada Relic is located at Fort Oro, west of Anguilla Strait. The catch is that you can only begin this treasure hunt at night. Wait until dark before you begin the hunt for your second relic.
Mimo Abosi’s Triada Relic
You can find the third and final relic by completing the Mimo Abosi’s Triada Relic treasure hunt. This hunt is located at McKay Global Drill Site D in La Joya. Begin the hunt to find the third relic. Make sure you destroy the generator first so you can swim on the water on your way to the cave.
Meeting Oluso
Once you have all three relics, return to the Oluwa Cave and place all the relics down on the floor of the cave. This will open up a new area that will allow you to head deeper into the cave. Proceed forward to find a treasure chest. Open it and equip the items you found in the chest and prepare for an upcoming fight.
Once you have the items equipped, you will be attacked by a spirit jaguar. This animal has the ability to multiply itself. Thankfully, the spirits can be destroyed with just a single bullet. The main spirit can be defeated by shooting it three times. Once the jaguar is down, go up to it and revive it. The revived jaguar turns out to be Oluso, and voila, you’ve finally gotten this formidable beast to join you moving forward.
Everything You Need to Know About Oluso
Oluso’s main strength comes from her stealth abilities. Whenever you use Oluso’s Shadow Strike to take down an enemy, which she will do so with silence and precision, the enemy’s body will disappear in a puff of smoke. That means you won’t have to hide bodies anymore to prevent enemies from spotting them.
Despite being mainly for stealth, Oluso is also a pretty decent Combat amigo because of how aggressive she can be. While each player’s preference of amigo varies, it is undeniable that Oluso is slowly but surely becoming most players’ favorite animal companion in Far Cry 6.
Oluso’s Abilities
Listed below are all three of Oluso’s abilities and how you can unlock them.
- Rage of Ida – When you successfully perform a takedown with Oluso, it will scare nearby enemies and cause them to run away. This will get unlocked after you perform 24 lethal takedowns.
- Mist of Oku – Oluso’s health will regenerate faster and make her invulnerable as she is covered in smoke. This can only be triggered is Oluso’s health is below 50%. To unlock this ability, scare 50 enemies with Oluso by using her takedowns.
- Mimo Abosi’s Luck – This increases Oluso’s chances of successfully performing stealth takedowns during firefights. This can be unlocked after you kill 12 enemies in Restricted Areas.
