To celebrate the climax of one of the most competitive seasons in recent history, players can also enjoy F1 2021 at a special Black Friday promotional price sale starting November 19. Codemasters® and Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) adds the final free circuit update with Jeddah making its F1® debut ahead of the season’s penultimate race on December 5. Jeddah follows Imola and Portimao as free additional content for all F1® 2021 players.
Jeddah Corniche Circuit is the longest and fastest street race in the calendar, with top speeds expected to exceed 250km/h. The location has given the designers the ability to create a unique track, with a focus on speed and overtaking. Players will be able to compete in-game ahead of its race debut, which could be significant in the battle for the World Championship.
“Our players love new circuits, and Jeddah is extra special as it makes its debut in-game before the drivers head to Saudi in December,” said Paul Jeal, F1® Senior Franchise Director at Codemasters. “Jeddah has the potential to be one of the most competitive circuits on the calendar with long, fast straights and multiple overtaking sections. The studio has done an incredible job re-creating the circuit ahead of its maiden race.”
F1® 2021, the official game of the FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP™, boasts several new features, including the thrilling new story mode, ‘Braking Point’, an expanded Career mode enabling two players to come together and race, and Real-Season Start with the option to jump into the championship at any point that has already occurred, adopting the real-time driver and constructor standings.
The PlayStation store sale of F1 2021 will be running from November 19-29.
