Earlier today, our friends at Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia recently announced that a new Digimon game is coming to the PS4 next year. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Digimon, Digimon Survive is a brand-new adventure/tactical role-playing game. The game focuses on a group of teenagers led by Takuma Momozuka that got lost in a school camping trip which apparently transported them to a world full of monsters.
This newest Digimon game is not going to have the same vibe as Digimon: Cyber Sleuth but will focus more on 2D visuals and a more classic SRPG style of gameplay. Player decisions will also impact the evolution of their monster allies, and also the game’s ending.
We can’t wait to see more about Digimon Survive in the coming months. Are you excited for it?
