EA Play just started, and Respawn Entertainment revealed an epic 15 minute non-edited gameplay video. It shows how Cal Kestis use his Force abilities, including an all-new one called “Force Slow” – remember when Kylo Ren used this move during Star Wars: The Force Awakens?
However, Respawn’s Game Director, Stig Asmussen, confirmed during at EA Play that there will be no light side and dark side choices, it’s a “Jedi” story. “It goes back to the fact that Cal’s authentic,” Stig said. “He has to fill a certain role so he can be used in other places.” Vince Zampella, Respawn’s CEO, also added that “it’s a Jedi story…”
This points at a classic linear single-player experience, which is not entirely bad knowing how EA’s been lingering into the “games as a service” business model.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order launches on PS4 and other platforms this November 15.
