Game company Square Enix has finally announced that a new high-definition remake of classic JRPG Star Ocean: First Departure R for the Sony console.

This will be a remake of the first title of the franchise. This is an action RPG that was developed by tri-Ace and published by Square Enix that got released on the old Super Famicom in Japan way back on July 19, 1996. It was ported a while back on the PSP in Japan on December 27, 2007, and then came to the West on October 21, 2008.
This will focus on three friends who are looking for a cure for a disease when they came in contact with a space federation group. The visuals will enhance the gaming experience better with today’s generation of gamers.
