Game developer Eidos Montreal recently revealed another trailer of upcoming video game Shadow of the Tomb Raider focusing on brutal takedowns.

In the latest trailer, Lara Croft is shown taking down some of the most ruthless enemies in the video game with her own version of ruthless takedowns. It shows her stabbing enemies where they least expect it like in shrubbery, behind shadows, and more. In one scene she confronts two enemies at once, and finishing them off in deathly maneuvers that quickly takes them down in seconds.
Some of the scenes featured the stealth kills of Lara in the previous trailer like drowning her enemies underwater. Another was stabbing them behind the back and quickly grabbing them away from the eyes of the guards.
Eidos Montreal clarifies confidence
In the video, it seems like Lara is stronger and more confident in the game, but Eidos Montreal clarified that the enemies are still too many for her to handle. This is why she has to use the environment and her survival skills to stay alive in order to achieve her objectives.
Developers not worried of competition
In other related news, Eidos Montreal stated that they are not afraid of the competition when they launch the game soon. Game director Daniel Bisson said that he is not worried and he has friends working on Spider-man, which he says he is very happy for them. He also said that both franchises can co-exist due to the difference in gaming experience. Their game is all about exploring and finding things that make life special while the other is about movement, swinging, and the city.
