The most anticipated open-world game and sequel, Red Dead Redemption 2, is reported to have about 60 hours of play time storywise.
According to the feature article that focuses on the development of the game by Vulture, Rockstar Games’ own Dan Houser said they took out 5 hours worth of content leaving Red Dead Redemption 2 to only have 60 hours instead of the originally planned 65 hours.
It’s not just that, Houser mentioned there are still side-missions that would be removed from the game including the one where you have to deal with mercenaries on a train.
With the rise of technology and massive open-world games, Red Dead Redemption 2 is taking the benchmark a little bit higher when it comes to content. Even the required hard drive space is almost around 105GB according to initial reports. There will be tons of things to do in Red Dead Redemption 2 and I’m certainly excited for it.
We will definitely experience that once the game is out this October 26 across all platform including the PS4.
