Saban’s Power Rangers, our heroes in the 1990s, has always been dear to our hearts. It’s a big treat for the fans to have any form of media, may it be comics, movies (except the 2017 film), and video-games. However, the disappointing Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle developed by Bamtang made us wonder, when will we ever get the true Power Rangers game?
nWay revealed a gameplay video showcasing their upcoming Saban’s Power Rangers fighting game that’s set to launch later this year. Titled Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, the gameplay video shows it follows the 3-man team approach where players can form their own team consisting three Rangers. Much like Dragon Ball FighterZ and Marvel vs. Capcom, players can also exploit using the assist feature it has.
The video also reveals that Battle for the Grid will feature other Power Ranger iterations. It’s also mentioned in the PlayStation Blog EU post that the game will have online and offline modes, with the former as the sole focus.
