Increasing your rank with the Knight’s Guild in Nobody Saves The World involves completing multiple quests. One of the quests required to rank up in the Knight’s Guild is called “Gorilla Warfare” and it’s divided into two parts. The last part requires you to complete the Ultimate Ranger Challenge at the King’s Range as a Ranger.
This is one of the most difficult quests in the game. And many players have complained about the unfairness of the Gorilla Warfare 2 quest. In this guide, we’ll show you how to complete the Nobody Saves The World Ranger Challenge and a walkthrough for the Gorilla Warfare 2 quest.
Nobody Saves The World Gorilla Warfare 2 Walkthrough
You can start the Gorilla Warfare II quest at the Round Table Tavern in New Old Town. You need to be at least Knight Guild I before you can begin Gorilla Warfare 2 in Nobody Saves The World. This means you need to first help three members of the Knights Guild become Knight Apprentices and then talk to Armanda.
The first part of Gorilla Warfare II really just involves you going back to Wormwood Roots and heading into the King’s Range. It’s the second part that requires you to complete the Ultimate Ranger Challenge is where it becomes difficult.
How to Complete The Ultimate Ranger Challenge
To complete the Ultimate Ranger Challenge, you need a score of 36 at the King’s Range as a Ranger which means you have to hit all the targets. Missing even one results in failure.
You’ll have to utilize either the Ranger’s Dodge ability or another ability from a Form which allows you to hit all five targets moving across the back of the King’s Range to complete the Ultimate Ranger Challenge. You’re free to take your pick based on which one you find more comfortable. There are a variety of abilities from other Forms that you can use to hit all the back targets like Blob Lob at once.
How to Unlock the Ranger in Nobody Saves The World
You unlock the Ranger once your Rat’s Rank reaches Rank C which can be done by completing quests.
Use Dodge and Charge Arrows
The Dodge ability is a Ranger active ability which is useful in the Ultimate Ranger Challenge for quickly moving around the King’s Range. Dodging left and right will let players reach the targets in time before they can fully move across the range.
Position yourself at the left of the range while using the Ranger’s signature ability, Charge Arrow, at its fullest. The first five targets will come from the left. Hit them with your charged arrow and then immediately dodge to the right as soon as your arrow releases to hit the remaining targets with another Charge Arrow.
From here, it’s a matter of utilizing both Charge Arrow and your Dodge abilities to quickly move left and right to hit the single targets passing by. After hitting your fourth target, position yourself to the right of the range with a Charge Arrow prepared. Another five-target wave will move from right to left at the back row. Release your Charge Arrow then quickly use Dodge to head left and shoot down the remaining targets.
After your second wave of five-targets at the back row, targets will now go across the range stacked on each other in adjacent rows. Use the Charge Arrow ability to hit all of them at once while positioning yourself properly. After three sets of stacked targets, you’ll reach the most difficult part of the Ultimate Ranger Challenge which is hitting three sets of five-target waves all in the back row. Position yourself to the right of the range and hit the first set which will come out from the right, use your dodge ability to quickly go left and hit the remaining ones with your Charge Arrow. The second set will head from the left and you can use the same tactic to hit them all. The last set of five-target waves will appear from the right which you can use the same tactic on to destroy all the targets.
Once you’ve hit all of them, you should’ve reached Score 36. Talk to the knight on the right side and he’ll express disbelief that you’re the first one to ever complete the Ultimate Ranger Challenge. You have now completed Gorilla Warfare 2.
Use Slug’s Blob Lob
The five-target waves are the most difficult to hit that’s why you can use abilities from other Forms like the Slug’s Blob Lob or the Robot’s Ravager’s Rocket to hit all five targets in the back row at once. This makes the section much easier.
That’s how you complete the Nobody Saves The World Ultimate Ranger Challenge. Once you’ve hit all the targets, you’re done with the Gorilla Warfare II quest.
