Game publisher Koei Tecmo recently released new information about the upcoming JRPG Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World.

Together with a new English trailer, Koei Tecmo release vital information about the upcoming JRPG that combines all other Atelier game titles. Players will be taking on the role of Nelke von Lestamm, a young aristocrat who wanted to become an alchemist herself, but alas she did not have the talents. There was still hope for her though: she heard rumors that the sacred Granzweit Tree is within her father’s lands.
Nelke enlists several alchemists to help her develop her village of Westwald. She also wanted to research on the mystery of the Granzweit Tree and maybe grant her wish. There are several alchemists included like Ayesha Altugle, Escha Malier, Logix Fiscario, Shallistera Argo, and Shalotte Eliminus. Several more will be coming as well.
With the help of the alchemists, they can be sent to gather materials and then synthesize them into products. These can be sold and provide a lot of income for the town. Nelke can then use that to build new facilities and expand the town into a big city.
Roads, ateliers, landmarks, shops, and more can be built by the players in this game. The growing areas can be assigned by characters and will harvest their products so that it can be ready to use.
The game will be coming to the west early 2019. It will be released in Japan this coming Dec. 13. It will be available on PlayStation 4.
