Game company CAPCOM recently announced that popular video game Monster Hunter: World will get a new expansion, new character, and more new stuff.

Monster Hunter: World partners with The Witcher 3

A new addition to the video game will be in the form of a familiar character from the world of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Game producer Ryozo Tsujimoto revealed that Geral of Rivia will be joining the game in order to slay some new monsters.

CAPCOM and CD Projekt Red partnered in order to make Geralt feel at-home in this game universe. With his addition, there will be some new RPG elements that are unique to The Witcher 3. There are no specific details yet, but it should be some familiar spells from that game.

Geralt and the related contents will be launched on Autumn 2019.

Iceborne Expansion coming next year

Another part of the update reveal was the introduction of a new expansion that will introduce a lot of new contents for players to enjoy.This will be the Iceborne Expansion and it will include new quests ranks,locales, monsters, moves, and equipment. This will have a new story that will follow the ending of the base game’s story and will serve as a proper sequel.It will need the base game to be played first.

The upcoming expansion will be launching also on Autumn2019.

Free Demo revealed

One of the exciting parts of the recent stream was the reveal of the trial version of the video game. This will allow players to take on up to three-star quests online with players who have already bought it. The best part is that the progress on the demo can be carried over to the full game if they decide to purchase one. The demo will be available on Dec. 11 4 PM PST to Dec. 17 3:59 PM PST.
