Game developer 4A Games recently released a new gameplay trailer for upcoming post-apocalyptic FPS Metro Exodus at Gamescom 2018.

Metro Exodus new trailer contents

The new trailer features the monsters that roam the land in the upcoming video game. Players will be facing these monsters above ground this time around compared to the previous titles that were found underground.

At first, the video featured some of the locations in the game and then it slowly showed the monsters that players are dreading. The areas really look like what a post-apocalyptic town should be. There is even a deer that looks untouched by radiation and other dangerous substances.

Players will be riding a train and cruising by the countryside until a landslide derails it out of nowhere. They will be thrown to the river and will be forced to walk through the land by foot. When nighttime falls, it gets spookier and creepier by the second. There are even weird-looking abandoned towns with so many dead bodies lying around. And then the monsters come out, hunting for the players.

The trailer ends with a weird-looking and angry mutated bearer growling at the players’ face.

The game will launch next year on February 22, 2019. It will be available on the PlayStation 4.
