Epic Games design lead Eric Williamson provided information about the plans of the upcoming update of popular battle royale video game Fortnite.
Fortnite future patch to make re-balance
The upcoming 6.31 patch will make some good changes to the battle royale video game. Williamson stated that it will re-balance the pump shotgun to improve the effectiveness of the weapon. The damage will now be increased in close quarters combat, but as a consequence the range will be reduced slightly. Also, all types of shotguns will have a minimum of three pellets, even if the player only gets a one or two hit.

Aside from the pump shotgun, there will be changes to the mounted turrets that players can set up around the map. The mounted turrets will now overheat a bit faster and will also have a reduced headshot multiplier. These will be applied via a hotfix. The patch will also adjust the collision volume to make it easier to hit players from the front of the mounted turret.
