Delays are expected especially when developers, especially publishers, want to make sure the game is going to uphold the expectations — that means fixing bugs and improving the overall experience.
id Software, the studio behind DOOM Eternal, has recently announced via Twitter that the upcoming DOOM sequel will launch on March 20, 2020, instead of next month’s expected release.
While this news is definitely saddening, I would rather have the game to have the utmost quality than releasing a game half-baked and fix the problems through a series of patches and game updates.
DOOM Eternal is going to launch on PS4 next year on March 20, 2020.
