Death Stranding MC

Video host Geoff Keighley recently a new photo of famous game creator Hideo Kojima suggesting that upcoming mysterious video game Death Stranding might be shown at The Game Awards 2018.

Death Stranding might appear soon

In a recent tweet by Keighley, the widely known host of Game Trailers TV and G4tv.com, a photo was attached together with the post with his good friend, Hideo Kojima. It shows the game creator pointing to a big screen showing The Game Awards logo and with a caption that said “Presenting plans to my friend.” This could suggest that Kojima’s recent project might be appearing during the awards event with new footage, cutscenes, or gameplay.

Previous appearances

Kojima was present in the previous awards event, The Games Awards 2017. After he got on the stage and gave a few words, a trailer of the mysterious game was shown and it was eight minutes long. He then followed that up with a good length of discussion with the Dengeki guys.

The trailer during the E3 2018 event was shown and it gave people some headaches because it was more confusing than ever. But knowing that this is Hideo Kojima, he intentionally did that in order for the fans and the newcomers to come in fresh when they finally launch the video game into the wild.

Some analysts even believe that the mysterious game might launch on both PlayStation 4 and maybe the next generation console of Sony Interactive Entertainment: PlayStation 5. Who knows, maybe there will be more details coming to light soon or more confusing ones by Kojima.

The game is currently in development for the PS4.
