Death Stranding Gamescom 2019 Reveals Two New Trailers, Gameplay

Death Stranding Mama

Game developer Kojima Productions and its founder Hideo Kojima recently presented three new videos for upcoming video game Death Stranding.

Death Stranding three trailers revealed

Three videos were revealed at the Gamescom 2019 event, which featured characters like Mama, Deadman, and a certain guest star.

The first video introduced the character Mama, which is portrayed by Margaret Qualley. She will appear in the game just like the many other characters in it with their own sub-stories separate from the main one. Her story is about her baby, who was born on the other side and they are only connected by the umbilical cord. She cannot leave the area because this is only place where her baby exists on the other side.

The second video featured Deadman, which is portrayed by famous director Guillermo del Toro. In this video, he talked about the BB or the Bridge Baby Pod. It is connected to the world of the dead, which enables the connection between the BB and Sam. This grants Sam the ability to sense BTs.

The third video showed gameplay, which started with Sam relaxing somewhere before getting up to relieve himself on the grass. On that spot, a mushroom grows slowly. He then heads to a certain destination, which was a Delivery Terminal where he delivered the Lost Cargo: Character Figurines to a certain character modeled after popular host Geoff Keighley. He leaves and falls of a cliff, which causes BB to cry. This leads to a weird gameplay feature that needs to calm down BB using the DualShock 4.

The upcoming game will launch on PlayStation 4. It will be released on Nov. 8.
