CD Projekt RED level designer Max Pears recently shed some light on the development team’s plans for post-launch content for upcoming video game Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 post-launch content like The Witcher 3
The developers recently teased the plans for post-launch DLC for the game. There were no specific details as to what these DLC packs will be, but the level designer did give some information on what to expect. Nothing too solid about it, but it can be a sign that the upcoming DLCs will be good.
Pears revealed that the studio plans to use the same strategy they used with its popular video game The Witcher 3 for the post-launch DLC release. He did admit that he does not have much of a say in how things will function when it comes to the plans for free content.
Here’s his exact statement about it:
As a level designer it’s not my decision, but I know the team is definitely looking into what we should do. With Witcher 3 the game got better with quality of life updates for the community as well, like how we improved the UI and things like that. So we’ll be listening to feedback but we do have focus on what the DLC will be.
The game will launch on PlayStation 4. It will be released next year on April 16, 2020.
