Game publisher SEGA finally confirmed that there will be a new Yakuza title coming to the PlayStation 4 console.
Yakuza game comes with new protagonist
Since the departure(?) of long-time protagonist of the Yakuza series Kazuma Kiryuu, a new title has been announced and a new hero will be taking on the mantle. This will be the protagonist Ichiban Kasuga and this upcoming game will launch on the PS4. There is still no official title and release date at this time.
SEGA also launched a campaign about their search for the supporting actress for the upcoming title. They are holding auditions for the position, and are accepting applications from actresses ages 20 and up. Her role will be Kasuga’s partner. The one chosen will perform in the game and will participate in various promotional activities. She will even receive one million yen prize money.
The auditions are open until April 21.
