Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford recently confirmed that upcoming looter shooter Borderlands 3 will have Tiny Tina again.
Borderlands 3 gets Tiny Tina
The fan-favorite female character Tiny Tina will be coming back to the third title of the Borderlands series. She will be voiced once again by her voice actress from the previous title, Ashly Burch. This was in response to a fan’s inquiry.
This also comes back to the controversy that legendary voice actor Troy Baker will not be voicing another fan-favorite character Rhys in this sequel. Pitchford confirmed this when someone inquired about this, stating that the audio director told him Baker turned down the role unfortunately.
Way back in Borderlands 2, Tiny Tina was revealed as an NPC. She then starred in the fourth DLC Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. She also made an appearance in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
The third title will launch worldwide on Sept. 13. It will be available on PlayStation 4.
