Borderlands 3 Officially Reveals First Gameplay Video

Game developer Gearbox Software and publisher 2K Games finally revealed the first look at the extended gameplay video from upcoming looter shooter sequel Borderlands 3.

The footage revealed different areas in the video game. It started with the tutorial, which featured the iconic mascot Claptrap talking about it. It showed the new mechanical features like the ability to slide along the ground and vault up ledges. The weapons in this game have alternate firing modes, which is another new feature.

Aside from that, the demo featured the loot system, which will now spawn differently for players of different levels that are playing together. There were some boss fights shown as well and the appearance of familiar characters from previous titles. A new ship will be included, which will act as the hub. It will travel to different planets along with visiting some familiar NPC vendors.

Improvements were revealed like better skill trees, gameplay mechanics, loot, and abilities.

The game will launch on Sept. 13. It will be available on PlayStation 4.
