Battlefield V plane dog fight

Game publisher Electronic Arts recently revealed a new trailer for upcoming World War II first person shooter Battlefield V. This trailer is called the Devastation of Rotterdam.

Battlefield V new trailer features more content

The latest trailer Devastation of Rotterdam was actually planned for Gamescom 2018 and features the Luftwaffe bombing blitz on Rotterdam that happened in 1940. This particular event was actually an important moment in the war, which directly lead to the Dutch surrendering to Germany. This has now become an interactive part of the Battlefield series by releasing this awesome new trailer.

Trailer content all in-game footage

The best part of this new trailer is the fact that it is all in-game footage. It is a full-on montage of intense gameplay that just releases everything with the game’s various concepts. Viewers are treated to tanks fighting it out on the battlefield, there is combat inside and outside of small buildings. Environments getting destroyed from left to right, and some pretty intense explosions in the background.

There is a scene where a plane just crashes into a train station. More explosions are seen with more fighting on the side. It is pure chaos, but it also looks awesome at the same time.

The video gives players and fans some hints of cutscenes and aerial combat. There are also parts of the trailer that has the same colors of the real world. It showed snowy mountains, a field with dozens of flowers, and many more. The video ends with a top view of Rotterdam burning up.

The game will launch on Oct. 19. It will be available on PlayStation 4.
