Popular gaming magazine Dengeki PlayStation revealed new information about upcoming JRPG Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout.
Atelier Ryza gets three new characters
There are three new characters revealed with the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation. Check them all out here:
- Lyra Desias (voiced by Haruka Terui) – A mysterious female warrior with a calm, cool, and collected atmosphere, who is investigating Anbell and Kuken Island for a certain purpose. She teaches Ryza and friends how to fight. She wields a pair of long talons in battle and fights alongside Ryza and friends as a party member.
- Kiro Shinus (voiced by Shiori Mikami) – A spirit user who fights alone for something important. You will run into Kilo in unexpected places.
- Agathe Harman (voiced by Masumi Asano) – The popular leader of the guardians that protect Razenboden Village, who watches over Ryza and friends.
Linkage Synthesis
There is a new synthesis system called the Linkage synthesis. There are different trees for each recipe and the same trees can have a different outcome depending on the route. Players can also opt for the automatic synthesis.
To re-synthesize items that were previously used, they can choose Item Rebuild. Materials can also be synthesized from the point where players left off in the trees of previously synthesized items.
How to create entire fields
The Gathering Point Synthesis is a method where players could create entire fields. They can synthesize this by using bottles, and by adding more materials, the appearance and the items collected will change.
The game will launch on PlayStation 4. It will be available in Japan on Sept. 26. North Americana will get it on Oct. 29, while Europe will have it on Nov. 1.
