Respawn Entertainment Vince Zampella recently revealed that after the launch of new battle royale video game Apex Legends just got a million players in less than 8 hours.
Apex Legends off to a great start
Zampella told the great news in a recent Tweet he shared on his official Twitter account. He thanked everyone for joining in and for those who showed up for the launch.

Aside from the players, the game gained a lot of viewers on Twitch, which was about 192k of viewers. That number is already a big one in just one day and it is still continuing to rise due to the sudden interest of other players.
The game is actually based on the Titanfall universe and this s the one that the developers replaced instead of making Titanfall 3. Most of the gaming community was expecting a backlash, but surprising enough a lot of the players ended up liking the gameplay.
The game is now available on PlayStation 4 and can be downloaded for free.
