NetherRealm Studios just weeks before the release of Mortal Kombat 11 announced that sorcerer Shang Tsung will be the first DLC character and no updates were ever given after that. A few leaks might have come out of the bag and we’ll now have to wait and see if these leaks are for real.
Ed Boon, Creative Director, recently posted on Twitter what seems to be an announcement of the reveal. Check out his tweet below:
Due to the date of the post, ‘next week’ is quite cryptic. It could be this week or the first week of June 2019. Given his track record, this could be very well intentional.
According to the leaked DLC list, there will be a total of nine DLC characters that includes Shang Tsung, Ash from The Evil Dead and Spawn. Latter characters are not yet confirmed by NetherRealm Studio.
Ever since the release in April, the title has achieved incredible reception. Domination of sales charts and becoming the month’s best-selling title in the United States, according to NPD, are on their achievements list. This title also earned its spot as it reached the second best-selling title of 2019, not far behind from Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts III. Pretty exciting year for them. So tell me, are you looking forward for the leaked DLC list or do you have some bets on your own?
