Game company Rockstar Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment recently revealed a new PlayStation 4 bundle of upcoming video game Red Dead Redemption 2.
Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 bundle details
The new PS4 bundle will launch on the release date of the video game, which is on Oct. 26, in the US and EU regions. This is a new bundle that will feature the game and the 1 TB PS4 Pro.
The PS4 Pro bundle will only contain the regular Jet Black 1 TB console, a DualShocker 4 controller, and a physical copy of the game. There are no other inclusions, and there is no color or other modifications to the console and the DS4 controller.
Decisions will be vital in the game
In other related news, co-studio head Rob Nelson and art director Josh Bass talked about how the sequel is way different from the old version. Nelson said that the team desired to include more realism to the video game. Players will have to choose with hundreds of decisions and they have to make the proper one.
This game feels closer to a living place than we have ever managed to achieve before, and feels natural in keeping with the pace of America in 1899. As big as Red Dead Redemption 2is, there’s an intimacy to this game that’s not easy to create in a world [like GTA’s] that you speed through in a car or fly over in a plane. We wanted RDR2 to feel a lot more intimate and grounded, so it made sense to push that realism as far as we could while maintaining the sense of fun. We want to create the illusion of realism without being too punitive to the player.
Bass revealed that this choice feature is part of the intimate experience. The world of this game will also react to the choices of the players and it really integral. This will make each playthrough unique from the others.
While there’s an overarching story, the game is filled with choices for Arthur to make that will allow you to decide what kind of outlaw Arthur is – whether he’s an honorable outlaw or someone less honorable is up to you. The world will respond to these choices in ways both big and small, and hopefully when players begin to share their experiences they’ll start to realise just how different they are from one another, depending on the hundreds of decisions they made across the course of the game.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available on the PS4.
