Game company Bandai Namco Entertainment recently revealed during the last day of EVO 2018 two returning characters of upcoming action fighting video game SoulCalibur VI.
SoulCalibur VI introduces Astaroth
The first character to be revealed during the EVO 2018 event was the all-powerful and large axe wielding golem Astaroth. This new version of this monster is quite as powerful as its previous versions in previous game titles in the SoulCalibur series. He has some new moves to look out for and he is pretty quick for a very large character.
Astaroth is described in this iteration as the Demonic Guard. His weapon name is called the Kulutues and his fighting style is Gyulkus. He also has great defense techniques against most melee attacks, so he might become a difficult foe to fight against with.
Seong Mi-Na joins the game
The second character to be introduced was the Korean female character Seong Mi-Na. She is also one of the prominent characters in the SoulCalibur series. She was present in SoulCalibur, SoulCalibur II, SoulCalibur III, SoulCalibur IV, SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny, SoulCalibur: Unbreakable Soul, and SoulCalibur: Lost Swords.
Seong Mi-Na is described in this iteration as the daughter of the Blade Rod. Her weapon name is the Scarlet Thunder. Her fighting style is called the Seong-style longsword and staff techniques. She is pretty powerful in a fight yet graceful in her movements. She will be formidable mid-range character in fights, but her close-range attacks are pretty good as well.
The game will launch on PlayStation 4, as well as other platforms like Xbox One and PC. It will be available on Oct. 19.
