Unearthing Mars 2: The Ancient War Sequel Finally Coming To PS VR Soon

Unearthing Mars 2: The Ancient War co pilot

Game company Sony Interactive Entertainment recently announced that the 2017 PlayStation VR hit Unearthing Mars is getting a sequel called Unearthing Mars 2: The Ancient War.

Unearthing Mars 2: The Ancient War details

The sequel of the PS VR hit will actually pick up from where the previous one left off. The first title made players accumulate different kinds of abilities throughout the game. This made the game a somewhat of a first-person shooter experience in the last chapters. In the sequel, they will be facing the action right away at the start.

Players will have the PS VR headset and an Aim Controller to fully immerse in the game. They will be able to activate a slow-motion combat feature, which allows them to target enemies’ weak spots to defeat them. This new redesigned combat system makes them play better against their enemies without feeling nauseous of motion sickness.

Different weapons

Players can use different kinds of weapons in the game as they make their way through a war-torn martian city. The weapons that are included are shotguns and assault rifles, and other more advanced ones like plasma based weapons, rocket launchers and more. These special weapons can be used with their massive encounters with enormous bosses. The new trailer actually shows how these big battles will happen in the game, which includes gigantic machines and heavily armed tanks that could even fill the city streets.

The VR game will launch on Sept. 18. It will exclusively launch on the PlayStation 4.
