The Walking Dead: The Final Season Saved. Skybound Confirmed To Continue Development

When Telltale Games’ announced its closure, all projects including a planned Stranger Things video-game, and as well as the highly-anticipated The Wolf Among Us Season II was canceled. However, the on-going season finale of Clementine’s story in The Walking Dead: The Final Season was just saved by the creator himself.

The announcement came from Robert Kirkman himself during The Walking Dead panel on Saturday from New York Comic Con. “We’ve successfully negotiated with Telltale Games for our company, Skybound, to come in and see Season 4 of the Telltale game to completion.” The Walking Dead creator said.

Skybound has taken full ownership of Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead: The Final Season to finish its development. The company is going to work with the original team who worked on the game so that the game will still retain its atmosphere and mechanics. “Skybound will work with members of the original Telltale team to finish the story in a way the fans deserve. Skybound will continue to update fans on the status of the game on Skybound.com, Twitter, and Facebook.”

This is good news to all the fans of Telltale’s long-running The Walking Dead.
