The Last Remnant Remastered Coming To The West For PS4

The Last Remnant Remastered MC

Game publisher Square Enix recently confirmed that The Last Remnant Remastered will be coming to the west as well after getting announced for Japan recently.

The Last Remnant Remastered western version confirmed

After the popular classic JRPG was announced just recently by Square Enix to be launched on Japan, the western branch of the publisher made their own announcement. They followed it up that it will also launch in North America and Europe.

The best part of this announcement is that it will launch the same day with the Japanese version. This means that it will be available on Dec. 6. It will be released digitally on the PlayStation Store for only $19.99.

Upgrades and official description

With the help of the Unreal Engine 4, the visuals of this JRPG have been enhanced in an awesome way. The characters looks smoother now and more detailed compared to the original version.

Here is the official description from the publisher:

THE LAST REMNANT Remastered tells the story of a world filled with “Remnants” — ancient artefacts that grant mysterious power to their wielders, changing the world’s balance and leading to an era of countless frays between those who ruled, and those who obeyed. Within this war-torn fantasy world, players will follow the journey of a young man who is determined to uncover the truth.

There are no other platforms announced for the western release despite its original launch was as an exclusive to the Xbox 360 console. It was then launched on PC in 2009.
