The King of Fighters XV will make a guest appearance during the Online 2021 Tokyo Game Show with new characters revealed: ISLA and K’. A special KOF XV program will be featured in ‘Fighting Game Café Hamejun’, in which KOF developers as well as top players will be joined by fan-favorites Hameko and Jun Utahiroba for a special show where the new character ISLA will be revealed, along with the first ever look at some KOF XV gameplay. The show was broadcasted on SNK’s official YouTube channel.

With a mixed personality of introversion and utter bluntness, K’ is a modified human with transplanted genes from Kyo Kusanagi. He wields the power to manipulate fire and fights as he struggles to reclaim his lost memories.

King of Fighters XV features 39 characters including classic popular characters, resurrected fan favorites, and those crucial to the unfolding events. This is the first time the heroes from each saga have come together making this an unmissable moment in the King of Fighters storyline. The latest installment in the King of Fighters saga continues from the previous title’s Story Mode. Heroes from the Orochi, NESTS, and Ash Sagas have all joined King of Fighters XV, and this time, the story is coming to an explosive climax.
The game will be releasing on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on February 17, 2022.
