Game company Sony Interactive Entertainment recently announced that they are currently recruiting testers for their PlayStation 4 system software beta in certain regions.

The popular gaming company is currently recruiting beta testers in North America and Japan, but soon in Europe. The testers will be testing for the PlayStation Preview Program, which will preview additional Party features.
For users that have joined, they will gain access to three updated Party features ahead of the official release:
- Increased maximum Party participants from eight to 16.
- Improved audio quality for voice chat.
- Improved network connectivity.
There is a catch, however. The users in this new program will not be able to join the same Party or use Share Play with others that are not included in it. The preview code supplied to each user can be shared and redeemed by 20 different accounts. The parties who are able to join will have an asterisk in front of the Party name.
Testers in the United States can gain early access to a chat transcription feature available through Party and the PS4 Second Screen smartphone app. These can be used to convert Party voice chat to text on the Second Screen app, or to enter text into the app. This will only be available in the United States, and will only support English.
