Game developer Ys Net recently announced that in less than 10 months, the long-awaited action adventure video game sequel Shenmue III has completed its crowdfunding campaign.
Shenmue III crowfunding campaign goal surpassed
After the first Kickstarter campaign that was labeled #SaveShenmue, there was a second crowdfuning campaign on the website and was titled Slack Backer. This ran for three years before it was stopped in September. The developers have finally announced the final figures that combined both campaigns. The sum total was $7,179,510 from 81,087 supporters.
To celebrate, they announced the final figures via their official website and the Kickstarter Backer as an update post. They thanked all of the supporters who did their part.

The game will launch on August 27, 2019. It will be available on PlayStation 4.
