A lot of fans were actually scared learn that the next souls-like game might have some sort of microtransactions when it gets released. This happened due to a listing for the game on the UK PlayStation Store that had a detail that it might be included. Now, those fears would be put to rest as a PR representative from the game developer studio has confirmed with a publication about the real deal.
PR representative Wiebke Valentine said that there are no plans for microtransactions for this game. This is really good news for fans of souls-like games around the world.
Valentine is actually a part of the team at Step 3, a client of Activision. The listing on the PlayStation UK Store listing appears to be an error on their part. It will be fixed soon in the future. There real information though is that there will be an additional standalone DLC that will be released post-launch.
The game will be available next year on March 22, 2019. It will be released on PlayStation 4.
