Resident Evil 2: Remake Retains Two Classic Modes From The Original

As we get closer to Resident Evil 2: Remake’s launch, Capcom officially revealed on Twitter that two popular modes are coming back: ‘The 4th Survivor’ and ‘The Tofu Survivor’.

In the original Resident Evil 2, players will have to finish both Leon and Claire’s playthrough with an A-rank to unlock the first mode, The 4th Survivor – where you get to play as one of the Umbrella Security Service Alpha Team Leader, HUNK. After completing, players unlock The Tofu Survivor where playable character is simply one huge tofu with a knife as its weapon.

It is actually great to witness these two modes featured in Resident Evil 2: Remake. This gives a fresh experience to newcomers of the franchise especially on Resident Evil 2. With its updated visuals and outstanding RE game engine, hardcore fans and fresh meats get to enjoy one great classic to have been remade for this generation – and it’s probably going to be the best remake in gaming history.

Resident Evil 2: Remake will launch this January 25 on PS4 and other platforms, and there is an available demo if you want to try it out on PlayStation Store.
