Project JUDGE protag and heroine

Game publisher SEGA and developer Yakuza Studio recently released some new information about the upcoming video game Project Judge introducing new characters.

Project Judge new prosecutors

The first character to be introduced is the prosecutor Mafuyu Fujii who is acted and voiced by Risa Shimizu. She is from the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors’ Office and from a rich family with high-class education. She has a strong sense of justice and spent a lot of time studying to pass the exam. She and the main protagonist Takayuki Yagami used to be dating, but he distanced himself from her three years ago when he stopped being an attorney and became a detective.

The second new character is Kunihiko Morita, who is acted by Junpei Morita. He also voiced characters in Yakuza 5 and 6. He is actually the chief prosecutor of the Tokyo Public Prosecutors’ Office. He is an honest man and Mafuyu admires him as a prosecutor.

The last character is Keigo Izumida who is voiced by Tsuguo Mogami. He is another prosecutor from the same prosecutors’ office and a subordinate of Kunihiko. He looks down on criminals, but he is also a brilliant prosecutor who never failed to get a guilty verdict, except against Takayuki. Due to that loss, he holds a grudge against him.

The game will launch in Japan on Dec. 13 and in 2019 for the west. It will be available on PlayStation 4.
