Game company Atlus recently released a new short gameplay video for upcoming JRPG Persona 5 Royal featuring new mechanics.

The new gameplay video featured several characters like Morgana, Joker, Ryuji, and Ann. He explained the mechanics of the new Palace Treasure feature in the upcoming game.
Morgana revealed that Palaces will have a master, and it represents the twisted views of that person. He revealed that this twistedness can accumulate inside Palaces, and it will form the new mechanic called volition treasures.
These new treasures are scattered inside the Palace in different areas. Finding all of these items will combine into one accessory that can help a character immensely by adding higher stats, new abilities, and more. It can allow characters to use a particular skill.
The game will launch on Oct. 31 in Japan first, while the west will get it next year. It will launch exclusively on PlayStation 4.
