The latest teaser trailer of upcoming video game Oddworld: Soulstorm was recently revealed by game developer Oddworld Inhabitants.
Oddworld: Soulstorm shows glimpse of gameplay
Soulstorm did not give any hints of surfacing after it was first announced way back in 2016 until now. It resurfaced during Unity’s GDC 2019 presentation with a new teaser trailer featuring some promising gameplay.
The new gameplay trailer had some odd filter over it, but it still has that 2.5D Oddworld experience that many fans have come to love. The levels and the camera have been improved and more dynamic compared to the previous title Oddworld: New ‘n Tasty. It has some environments setting on fire and breaking due to the player’s actions. The footage also hints some new stuff like crafting, looting, and new fighting systems.
The game should launch on PlayStation 4. It could be released sometime in early 2020.
