Sid Shuman, who is the Senior Director for SIE Content Communications, just revealed today that a new Sony State of Play will be coming next Wednesday October 27, 2021.
It is said to take place at 2:00pm PT / 10:00pm BST.
The Sony State of Play is Sony’s way of letting us know what they are currently working on. It could be video game trailers of games to come or games that are currently in development. It could be about who is currently in charge at PlayStation or it could be about which studios are currently developing a new game.
A link to the live broadcast has not been provided but we will update this space once we have it. The livestream is expected to showcase announcements and updates for upcoming third-party games that are headed to the PS4 and PS5.
The live stream is said to be around 20 minutes long and it will show never before seen footage of previously announced games. It has also been said that new games will also be part of the announcement.
Nothing else has been revealed regarding the live stream. For now we can only hope and speculate on what they are going to reveal on that day. See you all at the State of Play on launch day October 27!
