It seems that the battle royale hype hasn’t quite died yet. Respawn Entertainment, the developers of Titanfall, have caught on to this trend. They recently just confirmed a new game. Apex Legends is a free-to-play game set in the Titanfall universe.
While we don’t know anything about it yet. Apex Legends will have a proper announcement this Monday (8:00 AM PST). A full reveal of the game to be revealed in the afternoon.
As to what this game is, we haven’t yet gotten any further information. You can look forward to the announcement which is a little less than two hours away.
Personally, I’m excited to see what Apex Legends has in store for us. Titanfall was an amazing franchise and hope that this installment won’t be any different. While I personally am not too fond of free-to-play games considering their usual pay-to-win schemes, I am willing to give Apex Legends the benefit of the doubt. Warframe has proven to be a great game. Perhaps this will follow suit? For now though, we wait.
