Game developer NetherRealm Studios and publisher Warner Bros. recently revealed a brand new trailer of Mortal Kombat 11 featuring three new characters.

The new trailer was recently shown during PlayStation’s State of Play live stream, and it officially confirmed three more characters that will be joining the big roster. These characters are actually veterans of the series, which are Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and Jax. The first two already had an appearance in a previous trailer, but this is the first time they were confirmed to be playable. Jax was shown for the first time with a very different and traditional character design compared to the previous title, Mortal Kombat X.
Before this new trailer, two other characters were also revealed. Fan favorite character Noob Saibot joins the fray, while another veteran character Shang Tsung become the first DLC character and the host of The Krypt, a separate dungeon mode of the game.
MK11 will launch this coming April 23. It will be available on the PlayStation 4.
