Game developer NetherRealm Studios recently announced the 11th character to join the roster of upcoming action fighting game Mortal Kombat 11.
Mortal Kombat 11 returns a classic character
The fan-favorite washed-up movie star Johnny Cage will be making his return with the 11th title of the upcoming action fighting series. Just like the other character trailers that were released earlier, the latest trailer features his moves and his awesome fatality.
The storyline was rebooted in the ninth title of the series and now Johnny Cage is a vital character of the franchise. This time around he has some fancy moves that can definitely make him a formidable opponent or a great character to use against others. So many combos of different attacks are flying around with some familiar ones included as well. There is one particular move that somehow breaks the dimensional wall and calls for his previous version to hold the opponent so he can punch them on the groin.
The fatality is quite a sight as well. Johnny first uppercuts his enemies, but a director cuts him off and lets him try again. In the end, the opponent is beheaded and he throws the mangled head off from his fist as the final shot.
The game will launch on April 23. It will be available on PlayStation 4.
