Left Alive Publisher Reveals First Gameplay Videos On TGS 2018

Left Alive Wanzer

Game publisher Square Enix revealed the first gameplay footage of upcoming video game Left Alive on the Tokyo Game Show 2018 event.

Left Alive first gameplay videos details

Executive producer Shinji Hashimoto and game director Toshifumi Nabeshima were the ones to introduce the gameplay footage. There are four videos in total showing the different aspects of the video game.

The first video features female protagonist Olga Sergeevna Kalinina fighting against enemy soldiers. She used different kinds of traps and crafted items to overcome her very difficult situation of being outgunned.

The second video that was shown featured wanzers fighting each other. A player pilots a Volk-type wanzer that he stole from the enemy army from Garmonia.

The third video featured a dialogue scene with one of the two male heroes Mikhail Alexandrovich Schwarov. The interesting part of this game is that the choices can change the outcome of each mission and the whole story.

The last remaining video features Mikhail trying to rescue three civilians. They were going to be executed by the Garmonian soldiers, but due to his hesitation he only saves one of the three. The others died, but the player could actually try and save them all, or grimly none of them.

Collector’s edition

The Collector’s Edition was recently revealed. It showed some beautiful artwork done by legendary character designer Yoji Shinkawa. It also included the plastic model of the Volk wanzer and the other contents.

The game will first launch in Japan on Feb. 28. It will be released in the west sometime in 2019. It will be available on the PlayStation 4.
