If you’ve played RIME and The Sexy Brutale, then Groundhog Day: Like Father Like Son may be interesting to you. This PSVR game has been confirmed for release sometime this 2019. Although there is no exact date from Tequila Works just yet, there has been a trailer that came out for the game.
In this game, you’ll be playing as the charming but arrogant Phil Connors Jr who grew up in the shadow of his father. While his father spent a lifetime making a single day perfect, Phil Jr. unfortunately is stuck in the worst day of his life.
The game will also be available for Oculus Rift and HCT Vive. And according to Tequila Works, the player is an active element of disruption in order to give them more choices in the story. There will be branching narratives on the story according to what the player chooses. Groundhog Day: Like Father Like Son is basically a sequel of the 1993 film of the same name.
