In a recent post by Rockstar Games, they have finally confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI is finally in development. What initially was supposed to be an update for New Contracts and details for GTA V on the next-gen consoles, came with a surprising message at the very end. Read the full excerpt below:

It’s a long time coming but it’s finally here. The biggest announcement from Rockstar Games that people have been waiting for. I say it’s about time they confirm this as rumors have already been circulating regarding Grand Theft Auto VI so I’m sure fans of the franchise are going to blow their minds out now that Rockstar Games confirmed it.
No other details have been provided but we are sure to be posting an update once Rockstar Games have confirmed it.
