Final Fantasy VII Remake Gets Brand New Co-Director

Game publisher Square Enix recently announced the new co-director of upcoming and highly-anticipated video game remake Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Final Fantasy VII Remake new co-director emerges

Since April 1 marks the beginning of the new fiscal year, there is bound to have more recruitment drives in Japan. This time around Square Enix revealed that the upcoming video game remake will now have a new co-director and that is previously project lead Naoki Hamaguchi.

Hamaguchi was one of the important figures of the development team and was appointed to project lead way back in 2017. He has now become an even more important figure in it. He has also worked with other games like Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII as the main programmer, and on Mobius Final Fantasy.

FFVII Remake will be released someday on the PlayStation 4.
