Fate/EXTELLA Link To Launch In The West For PS4, PS Vita Next Year

Game publisher Xseed Games recently revealed that upcoming anime-based video game Fate/EXTELLA Link will be coming to the west in 2019.

Xseed Games announced that the game will be coming in the first quarter of next year. It will be launched on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The PS Vita version will be digital only.

With the new title, players will get ten new servants to the roster of the first version. The gameplay and visuals have been improved too in this new iteration. Check out the improvements below:

  • Combatants from Across the Fate Universes Join the Fray–- In addition to the 16 original Servants from Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star, 10 characters from other Fate series will enter battle as playable Servants, including Astolfo, Scáthach, and Francis Drake
  • Hunker Down in Base Camp–- Players can move freely around their army’s base camp—a medieval cathedral raised into the sky—and interact with their Servants to build meaningful bonds.
  • Polished Graphics and Battle Mechanics–- Players can experience refined combat mechanics and graphics through the game.

The PS4 version of the game will come in digital and physical form. It will have a price tag of $49.99, while the digital-only PS Vita version will cost $39.99.

Limited Edition included

A limited edition of the PS4 version will also be available for purchase, which is called the Fleeting Glory Edition. It has a price tag of $79.99. It will include a pack of 10 collecting 3” by 5” cards depicting the new servants, a soundtrack CD, a cloth poster with a size of 17” by 24”, a 3” by 4.5” acrylic diorama that features Drake, Nero, and Scathach.
