Game publisher Bethesda has recently confirmed that upcoming online multiplayer RPG Fallout 76 will only be an online focused game.
Fallout 76 will not get offline option
During the E3 2018 showcase, Bethesda confirmed that the upcoming game will only be an online-focused game. They did, however, said that players can go through the game as a lone wolf. This might give an impression that there might be a chance that the game will have an offline option, but that will only disappoint them because the company is firm that it will not have that option since it will always be online.
Senior VP of marketing and communications Pete Hines just confirmed on Twitter after they were asked by fans on the social media platform.
it's a server based game. I don't see us completely re-engineering it to somehow be an offline game that is entirely client based.

Hines previously said that the multiplayer experience will be something very new to everyone. He explained that while the game is post-apocalyptic and there is going to be a lot of people hunting other players down, it will not be like that. He said that the game will not allow that because the PvP will more likely be a challenge system, not just a free-for-all battle. They want the players to roleplay.
The game will launch this coming Nov. 14. A B.E.T.A. version will be launched before the release this coming October. It will be available on PlayStation 4.
