Game publisher PlayStack and developer Maze Theory recently revealed the upcoming virtual reality game Doctor Who: The Edge of Time.

This is a VR game that will be based from the popular TV franchise Doctor Who. Players will take control of one of the Doctor’s companions, and will have to save him on his journeys. This game will have the incarnation of the newest Doctor portrayed by Jodie Whittaker.
Players will use the Doctor’s tool, the Sonic Screwdriver, to progress through the game and solve puzzles. The game is of feature-length, which could mean it would have a good amount of gameplay as a VR game.
The announcement came with a new teaser trailer featuring some appearances of well-known villains. These are the familiar ones like the Daleks and the Weeping Angels. Another creature was also shown, but it was not familiar to the series. It was a big blob with eyes in random areas.
The game will launch later in September this year. It will be available on PlayStation VR.
